Branding The Wild Deck Company
The Wild Deck Company identity was in need of a clean up and in 2013 we worked on creating a new logo design for the business that would represent our brand. Jack Bowlby Design did a wonderful job of creating a logo that would represent our brand and what we stand for, and we are extremely grateful for the skilled work. Below is the logo and an explanation from the creators.
The visual direction for this project was something robust and sturdy, communicating the high quality product. The tranquil colour of the type communicates the wetlands that surround the majority of installations and the repeated use of the letter ‘d’ in the centre of the lettering represent binoculars, another nod to the locations of the installations. This aspect of the logo creates that ‘Aha’ moment that helps ensure a memorable and creative identity. The typeface used is Akzidenz Grotesk – a suitable choice from the international typographic style, speaking of stability and form. This is a logo design that relies on the form of its letters to incorporate an icon. Typography is at the heart of Jack Bowlby Design and you can download our own typeface ‘Quadrare’ free from our website.
We are incredibly grateful for the creative work of Jack Bowlby Design and proud of the logo that we now use to represent our brand. Finding your identity in a competitive world is of crucial importance, and whether you are looking to rejuvenate your company, or if you are undergoing a new adventure in business, we highly recommend Jack Bowlby Design without reservation. Get in touch to discuss your own project. And a huge thank you!
