Extended Projects

We work for a wide range of clients across the country (and sometimes outside of it), but there are certain projects where our clients keep coming back to us to make many structures at a single site. Below we have listed some of these.

Abberton Reservoir, Essex Wildlife Trust

Essex Wildlife Trust, who manage Abberton Reservoir, have become one of our long standing clients, and they keep coming back to us again and again as they strive to improve their site. We have loved working with them and are great believers in their mission to combine development with conservation. Thus far we have built five bird hides, a children’s visitor centre (which doubles as a bird hide), an outdoor play area, Brambly Hedge Nature Trail, and a sand martin bank at this site.

Morden Hall Park Boardwalk and Platforms

A lush, green oasis in the heart of London, Morden Hall Park is a wetland that can now be enjoyed by all. We built a series of wooden boardwalks, pond dipping platforms, and viewing platforms that encourage locals to engage with and become interested in nature.

RSPB Pagham Harbour Local Nature Reserve

Located on one of the few undeveloped stretches of the Sussex coast, Pagham Harbour Local Nature Reserve is an internationally important wetland site for wildlife where visitors can watch black tailed godwits and little egrets by day, then linger for amazing sunsets on clear days. The site is managed by the RSPB, one of our longstanding clients, and they asked us to develop a series of structures that included pond dipping platforms, an activity centre, and a bird hide for the ongoing enjoyment of visitors.

Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre

Rushden Lakes Shopping Centre is a unique place to shop, eat, and explore, offering a world of outdoor discovery at the gateway to the Nene Wetlands. It combines a modern shopping centre with the natural world, promoting the environment – something that we are happy to be a part of. We made a series of animal carvings and sculptures based upon local wildlife, a picnic shelter, a pond dipping platform, and four nature themed play areas at this site.
